Hello!  Just like that it is February! I am really looking forward to this month and all the fun that we have planned! Please sign up for all classes at least 1 week ahead of time.  Also, it is important that you bring a “Basic Kit” to classes. This kit should include a paper trimmer, adhesive, and scissors.  If you need something at a time we are not open, please contact me and I will do what I can to help you out! 

Remember making Valentine’s boxes as a child and your friends brought you Valentine’s?  Well…design a box and bring it to our Valentine party on February 14!  If you bring a box, you need to also make cards to hand out! These do not need to be large cards….just a little something!  Have fun with this!

Classes/Events:  (Samples of the classes are displayed in the store!)

• Saturday, February 4 from 10-12 p.m.--Alice’s Suitcase with Wendy   

  Come and make and adorable little suitcase that can be filled and used as a decoration or a gift! You will learn many new techniques during this class too!  Cost is $20.  Limit 8.  Please bring your adhesive, scissors, and paper trimmer.  

• Sunday, February 5 from 1-3 p.m.--You are my Sunshine Cricut Project with Donna              

  This project will give you practice in downloading a file from a website, and then uploading that file to Design Space.  We will then resize the file, and practice ungrouping and grouping, changing color, choosing a font, attaching, and then making the project using vinyl and paper.  Participants should go to Jennifer Maker’s website, use her password craft to enter her free resource library and then go to the paper flowers section and download file #36, the giant paper sunflower.  Cost is $25. Limit 8.

• Tuesday, February 7 from 1-3 p.m. or 5-7 p.m.--Terri’s Take Out:  Valentine/Friendship

  This is our first take out class! We will be making cards using different techniques and folds!The best part is that you can buy a kit and participate in a Facebook Live private class if you are not able to come!  Purchase your class on the website or call the store and I will mail your kit to you!  For those of you that are able to attend class, I will ask that you pay ahead of time to save your spot!  This class is $35, but includes 4 cards that we will make together and 2 stamp sets!  Please bring your adhesive, scissors, and paper trimmer.  

• Tuesday, February 14 from 1-3 p.m.--Valentine’s Party                                                    

  Bring your decorated box and 12 Valentine’s to pass out! I will have a game, treats and hot cocoa/coffee for our party!  No cost! If you don’t want to decorate a box, just bring some Valentines!

• Thursday, February 16 and February 23 from 1-2:30 or 4-5:30 p.m.–Thursday Therapy–Rolodex Project                                                              We will be completing this project over two weeks. If you can only come one of the times, that is okay! You will get all the materials you need!  Please bring adhesive, scissors, and paper trimmer. A bone folder would also be helpful.  Cost is $15 (Includes both times). Limit 10.  YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN UP for this one. 

• Saturday, February 18 from 10-12 p.m.--Gel Plate class with Dawn                                 

  This class will be full of learning how to use your gel plate to create backgrounds for cards, journals, etc.  If you have a gel plate and/or brayer, please bring it to class with you, along with your basic class kit.  Cost is $20. Limit 8.  

• Saturday, February 18 from 1-3pm--Fun paper techniques with Rose Marie 

  We are going to continue our afternoon learning more techniques for making different types of paper using glue, coffee, etc. Cost is $20.  (If you are staying the entire day and would like lunch, please add $5 to the total. I will have lunch here for you then.) 

• Sunday, February 19 from 1-4 p.m.--A Taste of Terri’s Stamp Pad 

  Purchase a ticket for $5 and attend this event anytime between 1-4 p.m.  Your ticket will also allow you to be part of the drawing!  There will be 4 different mini projects to complete during this time. The goal is to give you a tasting of what we offer in classes!  You won’t want to miss this fun afternoon! No need to sign up!  Tickets will be available that day!
